i know its not great, but im trying to teach my self to shade properly, i tried to do this with a definitive light source, but i dont think i really did too well.
if anyone has a good link or some tips on shading theory stuff let me know please.. i must unsuck at drawing

Ok, first thing...

They look great. However, that big black outline really doesn't fit very well. Since you are trying to learn how to shade, get rid of the black outline. Then, once you get the shading right it will look great.

no you can use a mouse too.

yes it comes with graphire tablets. Its a great program because it really simulates real paint much better than any computer program I have experienced...

anything that can be done with a tablet can be done with a mouse. It might just take a little longer. :) Depends on how good you are with a mouse.

and i actually used photoshop, since ive used it for so long, im just used to it

Actualy 28 i like the outlines. I love the kind of sketch look it gives it.
