Anniversary Logo

Hey guys i have to throw this logo together last minute. Its supposed to be a anniversary logo for a engineering company called HAWS that specializes in drinking fountains and safety equipment involving water.

Some of the requirements they have is:
1.No ribbons or typical anniversary looks
2.Want it to be more like a seal.

And thats about it they also want me to incorporate this image of the first drinking fountain they have ever made. Its pretty horrible looking but I tried to include just the top of it on the bottom of the logo. Unfortunately thats not really working since no one can tell what that thing is.

Take a look and any feeback would be great.

I don't think I like that the word "Anniversary" is split up by the circle...but other than that...it's very nice looking....good job.

yea no idea that bottom thing was a drinking fountain, that needs to go. Maybe just create another crappy logo with their fountain in it and show them this one next to it and hope they will chose this one. Anniversary on the botttom looks off, besides being split up, and there are a few too many effects for me. Also how come you ovaled it instead of just a circle? Looks good though.

I like it for the most part. The only thing I don't like is the type in the faucet head thing, and anniversay shouldn't be split. Aside from that I think the water is slick... and color usage is real nice. GJ.

Im having a hard time with that anniversary type but what should i do should i have it go on the sides of the circle and have both sides say anniversary or should i have some kind of sentence that says something to the effect as "Our 100 Year Anniversary" and just have that go around the whole logo?


Maybe just create another crappy logo with their fountain in it and show them this one

HAHA! i have actually done that before I made one logo that was pretty cool looking and another that looked like i had my nephew use finger paint to make it and they chose the FINGER PAINT one!!!!

I can dig it, the water is a nice touch. It doesnt look like a seal to me however. Almost looks like a logo for a radio station (not sure why tho). the 100 and the anniversary are just not "gellin" (lol) right now. Since you are going this style I would shoot for almost like a badge, crest or award look to it. So you can fully encompass everything without splitting and fragmenting elements. But that is just my .02....

I suggest using a phrase for the bottom, and slightly lighter, so that it can easily be split in the middle.

Man is it just me or do those things always look god awful.
That was some good 2 cents though DDD. What if I kind of inset the 100 more to the design and have the Anniversary as more of a statement that goes around the circle. Also what do you think about the whole adding the drinking fountain image?

what will this logo be used on? Print, web, flyers.....WIth the whole concept they gave you, you could pull of some pretty wicked things. The drinking fountain could be money if it is integrated well. With the current deal I cant see a good way to pull it off....

lol.....that fountain is truly funny looking...I can see why you are stumped.....Its a bit late to make changes I would just roll with what you have now. I would have went a diff route and ha d alil fun with the concept. But your concept seems strong enough to pull off what you are attempting. Good luck man.

I think it's great...I'd just get rid of the center piece in between the word anniversary, if you can...if not, no worries it looks good all the same!
