flash path subtraction

Doesnt flash have a tool similar to the illustrators path finder tool? I need to subtract one shape from another in flash and cant seem to make it happen.

well, just draw the substraction shape on top of the original shape, de-select it and finally delete it :)

when you do that is seems to automatically add to the the shape. Unless there is a option that I am missin. For now I went ahead and just manually editted the path. I wont be doing no advanced vectoring in flash anymore...lol.

No it sucks. :( They tease you by giving you the anchor points and the direct select tool but manipulating it is a major pain in the butt. Not worth the effort most of the time. :td:
