DIVX Probs

Does someone knows some good codec packs?

Because I'm watching a divx trailer and he's not working....

sometimes launching windows (sux) media player recognize the file you're trying to view and downloads the codecs. Although I'm not really familiar with DivXs... I got a prog got zoombox for viewing them and never had a problem viewing files....

Did: There's an upgrade for DivX that you should download. Maybe you cant view it becuase you need to upgrade it. Thats why happened to me when I tried to watch one, just a suggestion.

go to www.divx.com and get the latest free set there.

Just install it and DO NOT install the divx player that is packaged with it. Restart your computer and open windows media player (perferably version 9 if you havnt got it already) and all will work fine.

Unless you are looking for a XviD codec which is pretty close to the DivX one...

haha... I was about to mention that... a friend of mine encoded a movie he did with the Xvid codec... I didn't know about it... had to download it..
