AE & Flash

Is this menu made in AE? I can do such things in Flash, but it's a hard work. Is there easier way to do this? I have never used AE, so I don't know what special effects can be done with it.

well.. that twirly thing on the right could easily be done with Radiowaves in AE.
the menu graphics are all masks and gradients really so i dont know what else could be done easier in AE, now that you have blur and stuff in Flash.

That's a variation of the derbauer button hmm.
Radiowaves and blur could do it, yes. It could also be done with ripple, wipe added and blur.

Yes, derbauer.de - http://www.flash4all.de/start.htm is even more sophisticated. I have seen this site ;)
So, even derbauer could be done totaly in Flash?
Hmm, I want to learn that!

Hmm, I have just noticed that the submenu in first site is almost the same as in derbauer (effects and colors - orange). Sometimes is hard to define the line between copy and "inspired work" ;)

Not sure about "totally in flash" , although now with flash 8 who knows?
But for sure it can be done with After Efects and that's how they did it.
