thanks guys.
nikaosky, i removed the tilted beam on the bottom and yea, it does look a lot better. less distracting. removing the one above will take some work..
simplistik, i fixed a few angles. i think others are barely noticeable now.
beam removed, few angles fixed, and added a few more layers:

That's not true, all lines don't need to be perpendicular, it's perspective. Though the picture doesn't get it right, that's not why it's not right. :)

Actually, sorry to defer, but it is true. What buildings do you know of that converge in the middle at 2 opposing angles? I don't know of any. Hmm, their are a few other things. But yea, just mess around and make them perpendicular, and see which one looks better in your opinion.

(I said I'd have mine up last night, but it'll have to be tonight instead...took a little longer than I was expecting)here's the source... i decided to post them now. Took me about 3hrs total to do it. the hardest part was actually the reflections... mainly cause I basically had to "refabricate" the car to get rid of the original ones. I wanted to make it look like a legit car promo piece... and I think I accomplished it pretty stinkin well, it's fooled quite a few people.

Once I get back home I'll post credit to the photography that I got from SXC.

omg. i like this. i think you should add more stuff to it but it looks awesome so far.
BoonDock
December 15th, 2005, 11:13 PM
Yeah I tried to break some parts of it, and added some moss to try to make it look like it was getting overwhelmed by the jungle as years go by, I even added birds, but I couldn't think of anything else to add...heck, I even put the water in there, but you can't hardly see it because the jungle has basically overwhelmed everything that used to be there...
any ideas on what i could do to improve it or to add to it?
