Preloader starts halfway... simple and good site.... Menu is not bad but I would suggest that you put very light text near to them and only on rollover darken them.... There can be a good way to accomodate that light menu text somewhere....

Best wishes... :thumb:

EDIT:
Rollover animation in the buttons in multimedia section is very long... make them faster I guess...

Thicker scrollbar button needed in the same section... below the buttons

Yeah, I couldnt really break my basic idea of box. As
P
A P U C
M

Those buttons at the top is fixed. As they are based on the box.
So I was thinking news, links and guestbooks are the things that will be always updated in this web. So thats why I put it over there. But anyways, thanks for your comments... appreciate it buddy!

cheers.

Looks great robbo, you sexy beast ;)

Good luck with MRPPP.

edit - slight problem i noticed, in the video section.

When I was halfway through loading one video piece, then clicked another, the first piece clickied still loaded up.

As I wanted to see, for example, the second piece (as it was selected currently, I couldn't click it again to load the second piece), I had to click on the first one, wait for it to completely load, *then* click the second piece, and wait for it to load... confused? So was I :P. Hope it made some shred of sense... basically, when you click a video piece while another had previously been part loaded, you can't access the others you click until the original has loaded 100%.

i like it, but the navbar isn't on the same quality level as is the rest of the site, it looks kinda cheap, especially indents for description text and music, you could do whole lot better than that. One question though, what program did you make and animate those rubic cubes with??

Hi Tomaz,
I was just trying to make it simple, thats why it was called basic ;) but good point you pointed out tho. Thanks for that :) I used 3dsmax for the rubic.

Rob

Actually I liked the navigation a lot, not really my style but very original imho. The transitions are cool and I was entertained by them however sometimes it all seems a little too gimmicky which distracts me from the purpose of the site sometimes... But that could just be me.

i really like it man. obviously enjoy your 3D. no gripes that stand out to me, though i wasn't trying to look for any. just one question though. when you click on one of your portfolios, print or multimedia, it builds a menu. now the base of that menu hasa certain degree of opacity to it and it also blurs the background somewhat. how did you do that? i really like the effect. was it done in flash or an external programme like After Effects.

Looking good though, keep it up!

cool showreel - but when u zoom in quality is very poor, so take of the right click options in the fla. actually u can just have a link to your email on right click instead of usual flash setting. looks much cooler.

nice 3d work tho

hey absholute, great work you have there buddy!

The showreel is awesome! Why do you have it hidden? If I were you I'd put your showreel on the frontpage in a big feature button or maybe even have it load automatically upon entering the site. It's too good to be last on the list of your portfolio items and I almost missed out on seeing it because of that.

You should also submit this to the site of the week.

Keep up the good work!

I gotta agree with Tomaz on the navigation, its a bit "blah" if you don't mind me saying so...i really dig in the cube animations and the overall clean layout

very clean design, I love cubiks and camera angle! Did u use 3dMax to do it?
outstanding design and transition :)

but seriously, how long it took you to develop it??
