Asp login with forum

Yo. I'm looking to create a site that users have to login to to be able to view certain pages and perform certain actions. I want the same login info to work for the site and for a bulletin board also. In theory, can I just use the same database of usernames and paswords that come with say this here free asp bulletin board? http://www.aspbb.org/ I'm not great with asp but I'm looking forward to bodging my way though this.. thanks in advance.

This will get you started on the basics. Once you get the whole password protection thing down, make a thread about your other questions.

And don't forget Google. There are TONS of tuts out there for just this kind of stuff.
