Changing the Speed of audio / music

I am making a simple game in Flash with a looped music track.

As the game develops, it will speed up and I would like to speed the music up as well, is this possible using only one music clip and action script or will I need a seperate clip for each different speed.

I don't think you can speed up audio with flash.
I might be wrong, but fairly sure.

Many thanks mate. Thought that might be the case, tis a real pity. Hoped it might be something they had introduced in Flash 8 or something as I can't find any way of doing it with MX04

I haven't read anywhere thats it's a new feature for 8 so I doubt it is.
Im on mx04 too tho so I can't be 100%]

Yeah, got mX04 myself as well but would be worth upgrading if that was a new feature.

changing the pitch of the music would be a nice feature for a music player in dj websites (a turntable, for instance). If you find out something , please let me know!
