apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but can any one give me some advice?
I have looked at getting an Epson 1290s with Stylus Rip Software to use as a proofing solution.
I have a few questions though.
1. Does the Epson Rip run on a Mac running Mac OSX 10.2.4???
I remember that on a previous version of Epson rip i used years ago used the chooser and appleshare or something, and OSX runs printers differently now.
2. Does the RIP software when bought run on both mac and pc platforms, or will i have to buy two different versions of the software?
3. If it isnt compatible with OSX, what alternatives are there, ive heard of Fiery.....can anyone supply any feedback on them?
4. How good is the software in matching colours that would be produced by a printers press.
Thanks.
