Here are a few logos i am trying to create for a starting clothing company that will be called Ivory Clothing. My friend wants their to be some kind of elephant incorporated within the logo so i tried doing that a little bit. It would be definately useful if i got some feedback or help on making it better. Your help is appreicated! Thanks!

I made some updates.

how about just have the silhouette of the elephant from the side or even a silhouette of the elephant running at you, all black...no words. On the clothing tag, it would say "Ivory". Just a thought.

the bottom one is the best one.

Although thinking of Ivory+Elephants reminds me of animal touture.

I have a elephant logo I did for a person at home, if I find it, I will post it maybe will give you some ideas. Also it would be a good idea to tell folks what type/style clothing this is. Is it urban wear or lingerie for the full figured woman.

Not a bad start with the logos. I like the idea of one on the second row, first logo. Take that style (thin trace like look) and see if you can do the look of an elephant head on.

Yea, i am pretty sure he wants the style to be skater-ish like most companies(hurley, element, etc).. But it would also be good if the logo works with most types of styles of clothing..

IMO,
I think you should stick with just the elephant head but in the style of the bottom left one. Also stick with the logo where the 'o' has 2 dots below it as its just more appealing than the tusk one.

Wow this could be a very fun logo to mess around with, I'll wait to see some other ideas you post before I critique...since everyone else already made comments.

I'd scale the elephant down a bit in terms of detail, I imagine you could get a really good result.

Not bad, you could make some really sweet logos using this elphant as the symbol, if you were to do it right, it would work great!!

To me the only two that have promise are the bottom right on logo3.gif. I do think though that the elephant could use more attitude and be more streamlined... right now it just looks clipartish. I think it's kinda kewl how you did the tust for an I and the Y for a leg. The font isn't bad in the bottom one could use some tweaking and cleaning.
