It IS a nice combo. The footer is somewhat frosty, which ties into the polar bear. And I like that you kept the "Established 1976" catch phrase - sort of sticking to your roots, no pun intended.

Rab, I think that the avatar is fine, some have seen it before but hey can't avoid that all the time. The footer is ok, but I think you could probably come up with something better...(giving you credit and props on other stuff i've seen from you)
