Is there any need in the splash screen? It should at least resemble the main site a little...

Nice stuff, but as everyone else said, the text really ruins it. Maybe put a pixel font in the corner?

not bad, but is it supposed to be a website?
if so, i think the fact that people have to scroll and stuff is pretty bad.
make it a flash site with the image as a background and then have a drop down menu..

a 1024x768 popup? if you're using a window that big then why use a popup? The splash is ok but it needs to be centred in the screen (i.e. a 100% table so its ALWAYS centred, no matter what the screen size)

<table width="100%" height="100%">
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="middle">
PUT YOUR SPLASH BUTTON HERE
</td>
</tr>
</table>
/\ using that, no matter what size your index.htm is resized to (or viewed at) the splash button will ALWAYS be centered.
The comment about the 1024x768 popup is just because i'm at school at the mo (so i'm stuck with 800x600) and the popup is far too big to do anything with. If it was just a standard page with scrollbars then i could actually look at it.

No pop up for me. Popups aren't bad. But popups from popups are bad.
