Family Guy is great, I'd say it's better than The Simpsons. Stewie cracks me up every time. You just can't beat an English accent for a villain bent on taking over the world. :)

Got Season 2 on DVD about a week ago. Watched the whole thing in one sitting, they were so good. :)

Kit - you are lucky, we dont get those DVD's over here for a while I think - I have looked everywhere and it seems they are only available over the pond where you live... :(

I think it is, and I'm prepared to be stoned for saying so. :)

Family Guy gets away with more risque lines (Quagmire's 'divining rod' is a prime example). It makes me laugh more. And as for Stewie... He's great. Simply great.

That's not to say The Simpsons is bad, not at all. I love watching it. But Family Guy appeals to my sense of humour more I guess.

The Simpsons are ok, but Family Guy is great for its spontaneity. i really can't decide between the two.

First off - Kit - I can't get them from there, they wont play in my DVD player because the region would be wrong... this makes tuknuk sad :(

Second off - the simpsons are the best. The Family guy is the second best cartoon around (imo). Not only have the simpsons been around for a looooooooong time but they are still funny. Now family guy on the other hand cant' even go a year without being cancelled (which I cannot understand for the life of me) and hasnt been out long enough to be considered in the same league as the Simpsons. Again - all my opinion :)

But I will compleatly agree with Kit on one thing - they get away with soooo much adult humour, way more than the simpsons ever could!

you can bypass the region block of your DVD with a simple combination of pressing buttons on you DVD remote ;)


just do a search on google for the name of your DVD player + code, and you will find it.

i think that simpsons is better, but, now, i rather watch family guy than simpsons, coz simpsons got kindaof old...

if they were lauched toghether simpsons would beat family guy arses ;)

i don't think they're going to make new episodes. maybe they'll see how well it does on Adult Swim then maybe consider it. i hope they do too.

Man, I hate Fox so much... they put family guy in a timeslot no one watches... tuesday at 8.. it sucks. They never gave it a fighting chance...

Hey Guig0 - I dont know if that will work, as I watch my DVD's on my Xbox :)

I do have an apex1200 that it would prolly work on but I would have to hook it up again and I am out of room on my reciever! Thanks for the tip though!
