i think that it should be a forum for C++ Java etc... bicouse i have question of that and I don't know where to put it...

I couldn't agree more BUT there are hardly ever any questions on C++ or Java so it would be pointless, Kirupa has the topics covered already.

There might be more questions if there was a C++, Java, etc. forum. I think this is a great idea :thumb:.

I think a java baed or c++ based site would be the more appropriate to ask those questions, Kirupa is a web based (flash) forum therefore the major majority are going to be flash related.

The best forums for java are the sun developers forum....all questions get answered, same goes for the msdn forums for c++.

Yeah, and besides, without tutorials on those topics on this site, it will be tough to make the new forum actually gain any traction. It will simply stagnate like the Swift 3D forum :)

i'm a c++ person, and i could put tuts here, but i'm not a pro in c++ yet.
not trying to take him away from this forum or advertising any other forum, but join codeguru. i am a member, but haven't even visited that site in a long time. this thread reminded me of it. :sigh:

i have been programming c++, java, etc. for a long time, and while i would love a c++ board, i agree with kirupa, however, there are no tuts for it. i could write some, but i still don't think that application programming would be popular on a web based forum ;)
