Soul's Show is finally up! (+ contest!)

Alrighty, now you hosers can finally listen to Soul's show #2. Just go to http://wraf.lavaland.net, and click on listen now.

(A lesson learned... make sure to remember that when you reinstall flash, you need to set your sounds to "streaming" if you used to do that before. I thought I was having some SERIOUS Flash issues for a while...)

Also, I'm announcing a contest! NAME SOUL'S SHOW! There have been some serious uprisings in the land of Tony Blair over the current "British People Sound Funny" title. So I'm announcing a contest for the most creative name for Soul's show... the winner gets a cupholder! :)

I'd offer to do my own radio show of indie / britpop / nu-metal but that might be a little mainstream for you. :)

Plus it's another funny accent, as I sound different to Soul (although he does have a nice voice). :)

haha... actually, I wouldn't mind british mainstream... cause it's not the huge massive Britney Spears crap kind of mainstream that we have here... if you know songs I haven't heard about, you should tottaly do it. The whole point is to showcase songs that not a lot of people have heard... Badly Drawn Boy and Lemon jelly are mainstream in Britain, but no one knows about them here...

... you should definitely do a show.. you could be "the girl" on my site... just like you're "the girl" on kirupaforum... haha.

Nope :P You show is like the sensible show, heavily concentrating on the music, my show is more just a fun chilled time. Our shows have different styles, which is good for a radio station :)

There's all kinds of weird and wonderful phrases that we use here in England that a mystery to anyone from America. :) It still amazes me how different the language can be sometimes.

Plus, as Lava points out so accurately, we have a funny accent. Soul has a Yorkshire accent, and I've got a Southern one.

haha... oh, kit, if you want to do a show, you should know that it takes time... last week soul and I didn't do one because we were like "aaargh... it takes so long!" But we're getting better at it, and now we know what we're doing...
