Alpha colours

Hi, i expect this is a simple question to you guys but i want to be able to set an alpha in html like you can in flash.

For example have #000066 (dark blue) but at alpha 50%.

i don't think HTMl allows for alpha values...

nope i dont think that it does. but you might be able to find a background like that some where on the web.:)

You can use CSS Filters to do the Alpha, but it isn't exactly crossbrowser accurate, so I don't recommend it.
