Created entirely with gradient mesh. This is my first time using gradient mesh, I glanced at a tutorial and I was off. It took around three hours of unsteady work (I took a couple of breaks). I could feel myself getting better as I progressed.
I found a picture of a vegetable off google, and used it as a reference for shape and colour.
[sorry for the anti-copying measures, digital art is vulnerable.]
The end of the vegetable looks a little messed up, but I cant be bothered fixing it just yet.

The anti-copying stuff is way, way over the top... but some nice work from what I can make out.

anti-copying refers to the watermark I put over it, telling who it was originally made by. I had that lying around from a previous project so I put it over this one.

the watermark REALLY affects it... if you must do something, then maybe put one or two sensibly placed ones, rather than a whole lot.
nice work though. From what i've heard, it can be a really frustrating tool to use. You've got a really nice sense of the colors too.
