i just got this experiment finished.. kind of a new guest book.. try it out and let me know what do you think :)

i faced a number of odd problems when creating it,, fortunately i got over them all :beam:

the front-end is flash (duh) and the backend is php/mysql

i was trying to make a thingie where i can keep notes to myself.. then i changed my mind and made it a guestbook :)

The interface on it is incredible enough, but what it does is simply amazing.

I did notice one thing though, I have problems with the NEXT button, the previous button goes through them all, but I can't use the next button.

i was expecting some bugs.... but that one is odd, it works prefectly here... unless you pressed previous, then next, while it was loading.. sometimes it'll just get stuck there :-\

seems like it gets stuck if you pressed either buttons too fast or while it's loading.. i'll look into this :)

Nope, it just doesn't work at all, I have waited for it to finish loading and such. I can go to any image with previous, but I can't use next :-\

Interesting.... anyone else experience this?

hm.. do you actually 'click anywhere to browse the guestbook' before you use the next/previous buttons? :)

i tried something like that a while ago with some more tools, like an eraser and the basic colors. didnt come out as i hoped, i couldn't get the submit to work out.

but the buttons were buggy for me too, all of them and intermitently ... (sometimes work- sometimes not)

I think your submit works while viewing others pics and thereby re-submits the same one ... also the drawing is allowed over anothers pic and then can be submitted

hm.. i *think* the buttons are now fixed.. i cleaned up the DB and played around with the script as to prevent repetetion.. :)
