Instant email notification

Can I get instant email notification when a new thread is posted to a forum rather than subscribing to the thread itself? I get all the new posts bundled up daily, which is ok, but most of the questions have already been answered.

I'll look into that :) I'm not sure why Instant notification isn't an option for forums!
