a site i'm doing for a client, they are a record distro business, now the only thing i dont like is the logo, which is what they gave me to work with, any suggestions on a logo would be appreciated, cos i think i'm going to try and convince them to not use it :) oh and thoughts on the site too..

well yes, this client mainly handles hip-hop related music, hence the graph style logo

I understand what you mean about the logo, im not a logo person so no helps from me on that, however the colours & style of the site I think kinda work with that logo anyway. Im not a fan of large text especially when used in nav's, although it doesnt seem too bad in this layout. The background is great, the way you have faded from grey to black with the large scan lines, I also think it would look alot different when their is a photograph in the "Featured Artist Picture Box",

Hate the site, help!, tell me the reason for the Stalinist red black and white linear design on a hip hop site.

The logo is great, would not change it at all. For the intended audience, it will be readable by all, and, more importantly is in their own language. Wish the rest of the site was as inspired as the logo.
