Is it possible to make all the floating windows in Photoshop docked together like in MX+ programs? I am trying to make the move from Fireworks to Photoshop but I have OCD and it's very distracting to have many floating windows open for some reason. :(

move from? You mean use in conjunction with, right? ;)
but yes, you can kind of dock panels in PS like in FW - well vertically at least. Just drag and drop docks on one another. You can drag them to be next to each other as tabs or below each other as a new "row". You cant collapse them to the sides like FW, though. However, double-clicking on the titlebar of a group of panels will minimize them and get them mostly out of the way. You can also use tab to hide them all as well.

That's my #1 complaint about Photoshop.

Thing is, you can easily set up different layouts, save them and retrieve them later. As sen said, using tab hides/shows panels.

or you can drag all the tabs up into the "dock" ...you know that weird blank bar at the top right of the window.

InDesign, however, allows docking to the side of the screen. I can see PS adopting this... though, if they havent already... or did they? I havent bought into CS2 yet (I barely use CS1 as it is)

Nope, just InDesign in CS2.
