So I'm trying to do the sIFR method of font embedding for a specific website, and I've followed their documentation to the "T"... yet... I can't get it to work. Now I see the websites that use it, and their directions are simple on how to get it to work... however, it's a foolin me. So has anyone had any experience using it or have a sample that they've done that I can take a peep at?
Also, I'm developing on Mac OSX which I don't think is an issue since I uploaded to my servers and it didn't work there either.
Don't ask me for my files as it doesn't matter or relate to the issue, since I can't even get a barebones one to work.

Does that mean I can stop answering Client-Side questions? :) Just joking with ya.
Sorry to say that I don't really work with sIFR so I couldn't be of much help. I had looked around for a site that might be able to help you out, but I figured anything I found you probably already read and tried.
I'll play around with it this week if I have the time and if I figure anything out, I'll come back and post. My guess is that if you're having some troubles with it then there are others out there who are as well. So we should try to find an answer for this problem.

Oh? I was just thinkin I was a moron actually... I've seen it done all over the place too which is what is really frustrating. I stopped messin w/ it cause I was gettin to perturbed. But if you can figure it out lemme know cause I want to use it on a site that I'm puttin together.

I've gotten it work - sort of but all my replaced text gets huge and they don't even seem to be consistently the same size. I gave up becuase it seemed too unreliable. I don't get how people get it to work so well.

So I played around with it and here it goes. I must admit that it annoyed me cause I discovered a lot of external and inline styling that was overriding what I had in mind. And probably needs more tweaking.

Most of the files are there on the server, but if you want the archive with the files just let me know and I'll upload it.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but....
So I managed to layout a semi-complex page design by my coworker using a pure css layout - man does that feel great! Being the masochist that I am I wanted to use sifr on my headings. It works great once you know how to use it, although, tuning it seems much more kludgy than it should be. Setting the font-size in your decoy styles seems to do absolutely nothing. I've only been able to tune the size of the sifr fonts by adjusting the height and padding. Don't even get me started on mixing bold and italic fonts. :P
Anyways, it works great on FF and Safari. I can't get Mac IE 5 to work with flash :(. On IE6 and Opera, however, the type is just massively huuuuge - like 3 or 4 times larger than it should be. Anyone run into this problem?
