mask/transition Ideas

Lost for mask ideas....

need to get some ideas for the transitions inbetween the images being inroduced,,,anyone got any places with source files so I can use complicated masks in in seconds?

I assume you're talking about flash?

I don't have any templates, but i'm doing similar stuff at the moment, and i've been playing around with color manipulation a bit... it's not really great for web stuff because you need a desaturated version of the image too, but it looks cool, masking bits out in color with lots of grey bits.

if there's something specific to your photos that you can use, it can be great... for example, if you've got shots of trees or something, you can utilise that shape as a mask, or do stuff like do a vector trace or line around it, then fade the rest in.

sorry i couldn't actually provide any specific help :P
