Hello, everyone,
This is my first time putting something up for critique here. This is something I have recently completed, quite a nightmare due to my schedule, lots coffee and all-nighters, but I thought it turned out o.k. please let me know what you all think:)

Not too sure about the title fonts...

graphics are sweet, the font reads morafusion.rom to me but i think it's distinctive like that. the drawings and paintings are kickass. transition sounds, motions & draw-ins are smooth and rich. albertlan.com rocks too

Damn that's great stuff! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that you can read all the text. Might want to use some pixel fonts in there, because a lot of the description text etc. was very hard to read, and the first 3 words you see when entering the site are hard to read as well. Overall though, it's great! Kudos on a job well done. Impressive portfolio as well. Oh and welcome to the forums! I suggest you submit this to the next SOTW.

That's a nice site ya got there :D I like it a lot, the theme is tight and the music accompanies it well. I'd have to admit though... seeing the "g94" text effect on a serif font is kinda new/strange to me, but it seems to work. Nice work in the portfolio as well.

Nice site!
Nice portfolio too.
The only problem I can find is that the transitions jump quite alot (on my poor-man celeron 1.75GHz, for the third time). They're stll good though.

Great site... Love the vectors... The only thing that I would comment on is the text effect - it gets to be a little much when the text descriptions of your portfolio are jumping around and take a while to actually spell it out...
Other then that, great job man - very nice...

one of the best portfolios I've seen for quite some time, and you're portfolio works are great.
Now I know who to thank for those great 3d models that I'm blowing up in MOH :)

Thanks a bunch, guys...
Yeah, the text effect does go on forever with longer text, but due to the time limit, I was unable to work it out. But, I thought the text effect with serif fonts was an interesting combination as someone has already pointed out.
About the choppy loops, sign, I really wish onSoundComplete was more reliable, but messing with randomized audio loops is fun:)
again, thanks for the comments!

great site! well done. however would suggest putting a flash detection behavior because I didn't have flash 8 when I checked it earlier and it looked like crap- all the images and graphics went totally haywire....

really? The swf was published for player7 and scalable set to false...didn't test it with player 6 and below tho...which version did you have?
Thanks for the heads-up

Very nice indeed, great use of animation!
You might want to add a little something to your preloader script though. When it first appears it shows 100%, then goes down to 1% and starts showing the load progress. Add a little something like:
if(percentage<=100 && total !=0){
yourBar.width = percentage;
}

damn good. but you've got to disable the right-click menu else things can get messed up. should consider optimising it for 800x600 tho - it looks messed up ( esp/ on firefox)

This site is really nice =) BUT I got one objection,
The site http://www.eh04.com/ in your portfolio is a template right?
If you put a template in your folio people might think that all your sites are templates ewen if they arent.

Hmm, this is also based on a template
www.balere.org/version2/corp/index.html
Im not judging you in any way but you dont say anywhere in your folio that those are based on templates

thanks for all the comments and suggestions, everyone:)
as for the templates, this is a site for a client, so I really don't know if some of their works are templates or not....
As for the sliding trees, it's really simple, AS tween a few layers of trees, there you have it:)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This is exactly a TemplateMonster.com stuff, not yours ...
Your site is great, but I think a clear description is better.
Many work in your portfolio is not original, I dont mean "most of", but there're many template-based stuffs !!!

i was going to comment on this (not as nice as everyone else) but seeing as some of the work is ripped, i don't think i'm going to spend my time on it. the only thing i'll say is you have a lot of errors all over the site, which MAY be due to the fact that you're ripping other people's stuff and you don't know how to fix it.

Do you know the difference between "don't know" and "don't care" ?
You said that "this is a site for a client" and "I really don't know if some of their works are templates or not" ? :P:P
