I have a strange tendency to only buy DVDs from movies that have done really well in the Academy Awards (which makes my collection very limited hehe):

1. Saving Private Ryan
2. Lord of the Rings: FoTR (non-extended edition :()
3. Beautiful Mind
4. MIB
5. Jurassic Park III (I was a fan of the original)
6. Traffic
7. Gladiator
8. The Matrix

Music related DVDs:
1. Bee Gees: One Night Only
2. Bee Gees: Live By Request
3. Bee Gees: This Is Where I Came In
4. Bee Gees: One For All - Australia
5. U2: Rattle and Hum
6. U2: Elevation 2001 Boston
7. U2: The History Mix
8. U2: Very Best of 1990-2000

Cheers!

Ah yes, "Saving Private Ryan", very good film. Speaking of war movies, I liked it better then "The Thin Red Line", which was kind of boring. "We Were Soldiers" is also pretty good.

I have just over a dozen, and they're all movies that I think willl be good for the rest of my life. I don't buy serious movies, I only buy movies that I know I'll like for years to come even if I watch it once a month.

Here's a couple:

Zoolander
Matrix
Stealing Harvard (The string is a guide, john. It's just a guide.)
GroundHogs Day

You get the idea. Mostly comedy with a few masterpieces stuck in *cough*matrix*cough*

Edit:
"I'm glad you're here, officer, because a crime has just been commited."

"Do you remember the boat ride over?"
"Yes."
*co-cks gun* "We drove."
"...Oh yeah."

"I thought you were steve!"
"You saw what hapenned to steve. screw steve."

:P :P :P

I will vouch for Zoolander being funny - maybe not the funniest movie EVER but it's a classic all on it's own. You just have to go into it with an open mind :)

"really, really....really, incredibley good looking"
