In Photoshop: how do I create a batch job that makes changes AND saves files?
I can record actions to make changes to files.
But... I seem to not be able to save files in specific names.
For example, I want to make 10 images smaller, and want to save the new
version as originalName.small.jpg.

How can I do this?

I would have thought that you would need a script to make the new
naming?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You have to do it in ImageReady. You record the action in there as you would in Photoshop, but you have the option to export the action as a batch object.... in which case you can drag and drop the images onto the batch icon and ImageReady will open up and perform the appropriate actions.

New naming as such are options upon exporting the batch object.
