Site Redesign

I redesigned my site so that it accomodates what I want to use it for better (just got to write the CMS, now :lol: ). It's an adaptation of what my site was originally, but I think that this site is much better.

One thing that I'm really struggling on is the header - I have no idea what to do with it. I tried a couple of things but they didn't keep the cleanness of the site as apparent, so I ditched them. Some advice on this would be great.

sweet! i really like the design, but i keep feeling that the header image is loading, but nothing shows up. i think you should get a banner there

well, i think a simple site needs a simple header. this is what came to mind when i saw the site


then add one of those angled arrows at the end

edit: the quality kinda fricked up the angled scan lines

I suggest a smaller title that lines up with the baseline as the top of the box, in a light lime-green font.

Nice and clean work, I dont think it needs any thing more only a small colory logo. good job.

Yeah a header would b nice...the rest of the site looks fine, but the header can make or break it! (think/plan/design carefully) :thumb2:

I've noticed that there's a lot of profanity. Is this a personal site (blog) or a showcase site (portfolio) or both?

Haha, Kristopher, it's just random content to make it look like there's a purpose for it at the moment, it will be getting turned into a portfolio and showcase =) (without much profanity, I hasten to add)

@Arashsami: "Its enough beautifull.", you mean like... "It's enough, beautiful" or "It's enough. Beautiful." ? Because both have very different meanings. :lol:


I've just had a thought, should I close the bottom similarly to the top, or should I leave it open to simply go off the bottom of the screen?

Yeah, I'm thinking off the screen too, I'll play around with the header some more and retry one of the ideas I had last night.

Any clues as to what "more" involves ?
