I know this one is stupid but Im learning :P how can I convert my art to curves? thanks!

If you're talking about converting raster art to vector the best way is actually to use the LiveTrace function in AI CS2. If you're still on a lower version you could try Adobe Streamline (if you can get a copy), but as I had limited luck with that approach I usually traced my stuff manually.

no sorry...I type it wrong...I just did a business card in AI but theyre asking me to convert everything to curves....to outlines probably??

yeah, select everything and do Type/Create Outlines. and/or Object/Flatten Transparency will "curve" paths and strokes.

yeah. or 'Expand' sometimes does the trick (otherwise the pathfinder/brushtrokes will not be read by other apps)

though if you save as pdf with the 'preserve editing capabilities' off, it should be fine.
