I made the graphics for a vertical 2x3.5inch business card for front and back in full color. The problem is, is that i do not know where i can find a reliable place to buy them from. I am guessing the minimum quanitity is about 250 so i would like to spend $20 or less if possible. Does anyone know of a place i can get cheap prints from?
Thanks,
mdj :}

Yes i tried searching. But i was wondering if anyone else has done this thing before and has used a company like the ones that i have searched for.. Vistaprint.com is cheap but shipping is like 2 times the amount of the cost that the business cards cost. So.. I am tired of looking around and my local kinkos charges over $100 on 250 cards.

I always feel dirty (and ripped off) when using kinkos.
I've recently looked for a decent source for business cards but never decided on one. it would be good to hear from anyone else who's had experience in dealing with such places - pricing, quality, overall experience etc.

I don't ever print anything, so I can't be much help, but I remember a topic about printing being discussed over at Pixelex... so I found that thread and here is the link to it. Hopefully it can provide more help...

(i'm not even sure if any of the links there provide business card printing, or just artwork printing)

Hey not sure if this will help you or not.
But Heres a link for a deal at Vistapint.com for > 50% off Premium Business Cards (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26298982&siteid=41458985&bfpage=50__off_premium_busi%22) Note: Im not sure if this applies to custom uploaded designs or not.
But heres a link for > 25% off anything. (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26298982&siteid=41458985&bfpage=25_off_all%22) That should work towards uploaded designs.
These deals are for september so i dont know when they expire. I get emailed these deals all the time. So if it expires. Let me know and I can try and find you another one.
Also for those who want to try them out. Heres a link for free business cards. The difference between the free and the Premium is basically they're logo is on the backside its kinda small too. so if you dont mind them putting there logo on the back... here you go.
250 free business cards (http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=26298982&siteid=41458985&bfpage=free_bcards%22) You have to choose from one of their templates, but its still 250 free cards and you have a choice from some pretty good templates.
Hope that helps.
Also just so you know. I did the deal for the premium cards just because i didn't want they're logo on the back, but i did use one of they're templates until I got around to designing my own cards. But they came out really good. I also didn't go glossy which i kinda regret but now i know. :beam:
Good Luck,
Cesar

Thanks for your effort limit, but the 250 cards are not entirely free :(. It is sad because i tried it and it worked but the shipping was outrageously like $15-20 dollars.. $30-50 if you want the cards to arrive fast.. So i think with vistaprint is that they look very cheap but then overprice there shipping to really high amounts.. :(
I am leaning towards overnightprints.com.. I ordered the free samples to see how they are.

If your looking at printing business cards for cheaped then $20 you should just print them off your computer on photo paper, or take it to a local office depo like staples.
Just setup a pdf with your cards 8 or 10 up on a page. You can cut cost by cutting them out yourself.

lol, i guess i waaay overly exaggerated.. I remember it being expensive, and it is. But it guess if i get the $9 shipping fee then it will be under $20... Now i just have to make sure i make the card without messing up :azn:
