So I check FWA this morning and who do I see? Kigot... only they have a "newer" identity. And a pretty kewl website which semi functions. The loading and load times are quite annoying, but the 3D is great, and is brought together nicely w/ the SFX and BGM.

Now the only question is... do I forget about what they were rumored to have done in the past and move on or just enjoy the site? :-/ :look:

wow, those effects are so nice. I like the effect on the media temple text on the bottom right, its so good. any ideas on how it is done?

loading times are huge, but then again, when the final product looks like that, it is understandable why, maybe when they finish they will optimise it?

what was roumoured?

Do a search for Kigot and you'll see some posts concerning them... I know that for most of you the search button seems to be disabled, but that's the only solution that I'm providing.

I think the site is nicely developed, but with what has been said about them before, I don't know what to really say or to believe. Whoever designed it did a great job, detailed out like no other. The animations are very well done, and that MT effect is great as well. I find it funny if they haven't designed the site, why they would offer to do an award program such as Kirupa/FWA etc. for SOTW or SOTD etc. if they did not design their own site, and if they in fact think they have the credibility to give out such awards...so believe what you will, it's still a well designed site, and designed being the key word...

(although I actually liked their old one better)

It's not like a site like that just falls together on it's own. If they did the planning to make a site like that happen, then I think they deserve credit for it.

I agree with GreenLantern who care who design it, no doubt a very cool site nicely design, they obviously aimed for people with high speed connections ;) (not me :()

but yeah I also the liked more the old site

nice site the animation where really good
and i liked the 3d interface
loading times where a bit long only a bit
and i noticed a few minor lagging
