Watch out when you do grafic stuff with them. Sometimes they have really ugly stripes and that suxx.

I mean that you get stripes on your screen. Try it, and use yust a pure white wallpaper. Maybe you see those stripes. And that happened to me when I bought a 19' NEC...

yeah, sometimes when something goes wrong or caught inside the monitor between the glass and other crap inside it makes these white stripes that you cant get out. i wouldn't worry about that when buying a monitor though, they all do it.

Hm, actually I think they shouldn't and I think really good monitors don't have those stripes. So I will invest kinda more money in my next monitor...

they dont "all do that" because they shouldn't... I've bought them before and they were like that, but I simply took it back and got a new one which didn't --- just a hang-up of the technology, but not something that is "normal" or should be tolerated.... BTW good deal you got there!

i like my dell too...its black and very small...quite satisfactory.

nec is not the quality of dell's. so your stripes are from an inferior
product IMO.

I do installs for dell, and work with them all the time. Never seen
a stripe of any kind....ever.

I dont know why but i hate dell. Its just something that i have had for a while. PErsonaly i am an HP kind of guy, i have always had an HP/Compaq and really like them. I donno what it is with dell, jsut kind of makes me mad when i see sucha good comapny such as HP kinda dwindling....i am ssure they make good sutff, but for me, i will never EVER get aNYTHING from them.
