My microphone is not working, when i plug it in and speak into it, i can hear the echo in my headset, and when i try to record, it does not pick up the device, and when i go to Control Panel--Multimedia, it does not even detect the Microphone... Am i missing a driver or something? can somebody please help me out with this, i got a website to be uploaded in two days and i need this MIC :hair:

it could possiably be a driver problem. although, they do sometimes already come loaded on the computer. Does this only happen when you try to record?

Yes, I can't record, and i can't use it at all, somebody just gave me a tip and told me to open the sound recorder options, and mute Microphone, and that solved the echo problem, but it still won't record, or i am not able to use the microphone itself. There is nothing wrong with the microphone itself. Thanks, can you help?

Well if u get an echo that suggests it is being detected, wot type of microphone u got??, u sure there isnt a mute on the actual microphone u got selected, cause there is on mine and i get an echo when it pressed
