its nice, but the fonts at the bottom look a little hokey, IMO. Maybe substitute those for something else.

ya, i think they look hokey too. It looks like you threw it together quick. Try just solid text, no 3dish kind of stuff

i think that the text is hard to read...
you could use a lil bit more of contrast and a lil less opacity, on the bg image.

just put the text and Bevel it a lil

this was thrown together quickly...
and this has to be extremely corporate.
If I'm going to use flat text, then I should just use HTML...
think a global bank...

I think the text should have a lil more uniformity to it. The alignments look weird. If you do do flat text I dont think you do HTML because of the alias factor.

click here for next round of comps (http://aulman.com/mckesson/comp2.htm)
After a discussion with the client, this is the next round of comps.
BTW - these are just ideas, not final images. Once chosen, the final image will be completed, and much more professional looking...

my fav as well...
the client likes the silver look... But just the same, I wanted to show what normal text would look like.
We shall see what they (the committee) have to say.

Ver. 2A is the most professional looking. I would deff. go w/ that one. The chrome isn't working.

[[[I'm trying to edit, because I feel guilty. Sorry Rev. This should give a better idea of what I meant.]]]
I like 2 and 4.
what's wrong with four is the uniformity though, it just seems off.
Is it your client that's making sure you use two different font sizes, cause it's, like I said, just not very appealing to have it go from one to the other and back.
2a is fine, but if you made the silver a bit less.... blaring? bright? shiny? I don't know, but if you made it a wee bit easier to read in number 2, it would go a long way. The silver would be a lot more accepted by the members, I think. Even if they still preferred the normal text.
try and make 4 uniform, because I think it's got a lot of potential!

yeah, I do I guess.
I didn't mean to offend you rev, I really didn't.
My apologies if I was over-the-top.
But really, you have to make them the same, and line them up nice. For some reason it's a real... turn-off, the way it is.

it's not what you said, but how you said it...
you just told me I had to change something. You didn't say, I don't like these because... (very few people still in High School have the design experience to say those kind of things with that kind of command without getting slammed in return).
no harm, but watch how you word things or be prepared for ugly responses.
