Looks like a combination of 3d animation and product photography.

Yeah its a bit of a head scratcher. I think its all 3d animation except for the product shots, they are photos of products combined with a 3d background.
Then again, whadda I know?!? :ne:

that is all 3d animation. Looks like MAx with V-ray to me.
Very nice 3d work though and nice camera work.

That site is absolutely awesome. I would say it is all 3d work with product photos too. I'd like to see a tutorial on some combination work like that too :) *hint *hint.
How do they keep it so smooth, and it loaded quick too so it's got to be a decently small file size for being that complex...

I am a pro 3der of 5 years+ currently dipping my toe in the flash waters. i can tell you guys that to do something like this you need at least 2 years full time with a 3d package. This is all down to budget and time. Each frame of that animation would have taken around 15-40 mins depending on the machine. You do the math!
If anyone wants 3d in their websites then i don't mind helping you guys out for some flash help here and there.

Very nice site.....the modelling is not very hard to learn but lighting and texturing is the killer. I still have problems with lighting and texturing to this very day. Lovely site tho...hate the popup.

very nice - enjoyed the mouse over camera work inside the render the most -
some of the beginning elements felt dated. but i think it's still pretty cool :)
