I'm working with some PHP to Flash and back interfacing systems..

I've got the directory listing system downpat right now...

http://www.fantom-stranger.com/~mentalconcepts/php/filetesting.php

This tells the server to list all the files in that directory I have pinpointed.. And if the file just so happens to be .jpg or .gif.. It will display the file below it :)

but on what do you plan to use this?

On many things that require a database sweep...

Like if you wanted an updateable photogallery or an updateable flash gallery.. You could use this to sweep throughout the entire file... You can also check to see if it's a file or a directory as well :)

I just like making the systems.. Hoping someone can actually put them to use *lmao*

Yeah. I was thinking about yours a wile back when I started this one.. But I wanted to make this universal and add alot more functionability to it... :)

Thanks.. I plan on adding sorting abilities and other key factors.. Like filtering out things and everything else... :)
