With all the sweet, creamy new features with Flash 8, I bet we could get some really sweet music visualizations going for jukebox type programs... if there was only a way for someone to export an MP3 file into an already Equalized SWF file... hmm.

I bought this program a long time ago and I've been pretty happy with it. Though it tends to give more attention to the bass areas of the song rather than the higher end stuff. Regardless, I've created a sample page here:

I'd love to know if there is any interest in this, with all the great stuff Flash 8 gives us I'm sure there are some fantastic things we can do with it.

(Also, if the song I provided is too annoying I can find another one :P

My first thought when I heared about the new filters was that they would make it possible to make some nice visualizations.
I can't wait to find some time to play around with that.

I done a few some years ago for my mp3 player using flashamp.
You can check it out on www.resonantearth.com (click on the play button in the middle top of the screen, then open the left tab thingy on the player).
They are quite basic and very small, but it's really fun stuff to program and I'd love to have a go at doing some more Flash 8 versions.

Yeah, I haven't had much time to play around with anything yet, but I'm sure some of the more proficient people at flash will make some amazing things :)
