hi guys, this is a photoshop question,
does anyone knows how to save PSD files in Photoshop 9 "cs2" so it can open in previous version of photoshop 7.0 / /
from photoshop cs2 to photoshop 7.0 .

At the end of each save there is a maximize compatibility button. That enables you to open in older versions. Vector objects will be lost tho. Among a few other things. ALso I think there are more save options in the file>>export window.

hi thanks for quick reply, whenever i go to export window i dont' get any option to export a psd file so other older version of photoshop can open it. :puzzled: man this is driving me abit :red: .. i wonder if there is a way to do it or not.

he just told you

just save it as a psd, and a window will popup (unless you've disabled it via the preferences) asking you if you want to save it with maximum compatibility. Click OK
