Few logos...

Hey guys... here are some prelim. designs for some projects coming up... just wanted to get some feedback on the first drafts. The first two are pretty self explanitory - the third one is for a hydrodynamics company (background: they wanted something stylized, different, but still giving the feel of a wave).

Those glasses look like a butterfly.

For the third one i think form should be the same font different colour and the technolodgies looks scaled down horizontally. Also the logo mark has a cool feel to it but it looks unfinished for some reason.

id try another #1, that whole abstract person with arms wide up open has been done to death by the "modern" style logos. looks too much like Scripps Hospitals' logo.

yeah bodyright is one word... dont ask, didnt come up with it ;)

The waveform is all the same font, one part bold the other not.... but really Im not even thinking too much about the workmark portion yet - just the graphic

You really think the eyes look like a butterfly next to the words alien eyewear? really?
.....they look like alien/sunglass covered eyes to me....

yeah as I made it I felt it had a familiar feel to it... but I didnt want to look around until I finished it to be sure it came from me first... I'll take a look now though - thanks for the input!

The alien one is the best IMO, I didn't think it was a butterfly at all... Butterfly's don't have different sized wings ;)

The last one doesn't really hit me but the colors are nice :)

The abstract man reaching up thing really is overdone though. Still looks good however, can't deny.

y1; The bodyright logo looks just like me dads logo for his Dr. office. I like it though :)
2; I saw eyes. Didnt see the butterfly till j_polo9 mentioned it.
3; I didnt see waves though. I saw claws. lol

Over all, they are very nice. I wish i could do logo work :(

I like em. The alien one looks a lil like a butterfly. I would make them a lil more oval. I like the bodyright one. The last one could use a little work making the wave a lil more distinct. BUt it is still good as well. all in all gj. The font treatment on each is very good IMO.

Nooo!! I think they all look good! Of course the stylized body with the arms in the air has been overdone, but heck, that's what that type of market calls for.

I love all of the logos though! Looking good!

DDD: thanks for the comments... I was hoping you'd have a look as I value your input. I kinda agree the wave logo at times looks like it needs some refinment - I'll have to think about that one. Re: the alien logo, interesting comment, I'll try something along those lines, but my only worry is while they'll still look like shades in a more oval form I dont want to loose the double meaning/look of actual alien eyes... I'll have to experiment.

The problem with the wave one is that the wave is unbalanced. It wants to fall some way or the other :D
I like the alien-butterfly-glasses... I think they work well.

The first two are great but the the wave on the third one looks like a big claw to me. Maybe make the three waves attached and in three different shades of the colour. Then again, I'm not a designer and you are, so good luck with the project.
