their more-or less the same as the last :) I mean everyone knoews that you need a fair bit of Ram to run say Flash and DW at the moment.

I hope that the new apps aren't too overwhelming though :(

Funny how it takes ~256MB of RAM to one run program and they recommend ~1GB for two or more... you'd think 512MB would be sufficient to run two if 256MB was good enough to run one.

yeh lol :) I think my mac mini will struggle with it so looks like my PC Will get most of the action :)

DW and Flash are pretty big though so..... :( also people like music to be banging away in the background so many may struggle running 2 anyways :(

Maybe you could have your Mac Mini playing music while your PC runs Studio products?

what does music have to do with it? WMP only uses like 2% of processor speed and like 7mb of memory playing a normal song.

just so u know system requirements mean nothing....
it says u need a p4 i think 2.4 ghz to run half life 2
i have a p3 1.0 ghz and i can run it on high detail and its dam smooth....
just makesure ur graphics card is good like 9800pro 256mb or higher :)

i really think system requirements are just random specs put in lol

System requires are only the minimum recommended requirements. It's not to say it won't work if you don't fit the criteria, but rather that you have the best bet of it working smoother if you do meet that criteria.

And to continue the offtopic post spree:

I've worked with Photoshop 6 on a PC with 300 MHz and 64 RAM. Took half an hour on the clock to render a small radial blur. :)

(more off-topic, but it had to be said)

My work computer is so old... I think it's like 777mhz or something... It might break 1gHz, but I don't think so (I've had this for over 3 years and it was really old when I got it :( ) with 256 megs of RAM.

I almost always have Photoshop 6, Flash MX 2004, Winamp, and Internet Explorer open. Sometimes with WMP if I'm sampling audio assets without interrupting my music or Illustrator... my poor work compy :'(
