Ok, this is really odd, I selected a color (#1B1B1B) put it in the background of an image, saved the image, and put that same color (#1B1B1B) as the background color of my HTML page. The image blends in in Firefox, but not in IE... I don't understand it...

Any help?

ya, ie is wierd like that, its a known problem. you have a choice, either make your image one shade lighter (in photoshop Image>Adjustments>Variations click once on lighter) but that will leave your image lighter than your background in firefox. So i say screw ie, leave it the way it is and wait for microsoft to get their ***** in gear.

I changed it; apparently it's only with .pngs :P
Converting them to .jpgs fixed the problem.
