The project will consist of creating a self-installing (can technically be done in any lanquage you prefer) VB .net exe that will write settings in a single XML file for a customizable Flash menu (the menu is already developed, so only the settings for it are required). The exe must be developed in such a way that it is wizard-like in format. Even the most novice computer user should be able to understand using the exe to change their menu settings. The exe should also be able to display the changes made "on-the-fly" for the Flash menu.

The exe must be able to read & update the XML file to a specific local location (selectable by the user). The XML file itself has almost 100 specific settings for the menu overall. The exe must be able to dynamically handle a menu that has the potential of 4 sub menus per main menu item & an unlimited amount of main menu items. Each menu (main & each sub menu) will need 4 specific XML nodes available to each. One of the XML nodes for each menu item (main & sub menus) will need to have an easily used color picker available. Ideally the color picker will be similar in usability to ones in Macromedia products.

Please bid on the project. No more than $500.

Hi there,

I have over four years experience with VB6 and around 2 and a half using flash as a developement tool, using XML as a backend to allow my clients to do their own cleaning. I understand both discretely but am also able to integrate flash into VB6 if this is a requirement. I have looked into this before, and i think maybe to get the control you would require, building a bespoke strategy to deal with XML node data wouldn't be such a problem.

If you could give me some of the project details, or even send me the whole thing with a more in depth description of exactly what is required, I could give you a price on this!... :q:
