Flash Illustration

Hello everyone. I've been playing around with Flash for a few months now.
I'm focusing on creating websites but also do vector illustrations.
This is my third Flash illustration and I just wanted to get a few critiques on it. I still have alot to learn so my website is going to be totally redesigned soon. I'll be posting it when it's finished.

u can export it into an image file

I tried publishing it with both png and gif formats but had some problems.
With png, the file size was huge and with gif it totally changed the look of the artwork. How do you adjust the png and gif publish settings to make it work?

do u have anything outside the stage area?
because if u do then that might be the problem
try cutting everything out of the stage and export it and then paste it back

There's nothing outside the stage so I don't know what the problem is.

Regarding your question about the png file size.. just take the exported png into photoshop and then save it out as a high color gif or jpg. that should help with the file size.

or you can play with the publish settings in flash when you select to export it as a gif, there should be a gif tab. (ctl-shift-f12). :)

That's really impressive in Flash. I have the worst time getting Flash to do what I want with shapes. I usually mock-up in Illustrator, then either export a SWF or copy and paste into Flash.
