resize wizard in photoshop 7

I have an image that i want to resize. Its currently about 42cm wide and i want it 73cm wide. I used the resize wizard (Help-->Resize image(or something like that)) and entered the required information (size, quality ect). It made the image larger as expected, but it looks about 6 or 7 times larger rather than the one and a half times larger i expected. Any ideas whats wrong?

have you tried image > image size ?

Nope, did everything in cm, I find it easier that way.

Is that the section with the slider from 1x-2x? Maybe thats where im going wrong!

In the end I just went Edit>Image size>150 percent
