I've never even opened Flash before I started working on this site. It's my boyfriends band's website. I don't know how to do much. So it's pretty minimal really.

If anybody could give me any suggestions on how to make it better and more professional looking, it'd be greatly appreciated.

you should put more space between the words in the nav. it kinda looks like its one long word. also its hard to read. the the transparent content sections make it hard to see what youre looking at.

Really!!! I would say perhaps increasing the font sizes on the page buttons, and brightening them up just a touch; might improve overall recognition of their placement (does that make sense). But really, it looks very thorough to me!! I say good work!!

Well i went through my entire font library three times before he picked one he liked. I did space out the links though and decreased the transparency of the content windows...

you need preloaders for each page or fix the delay between clicking the button and the window appearing.

The splash page is aight but that brownish colour is horendous and i can't read any of the text at the bottom. The font is aight for the logo text but don't use it everywhere :S Especially for the menu. The content pages are too much like the splash page and not enough design elements.

It's a good start though, especially for your first flash site.

hm.. does it really take that long to load? I keep cleaning out my cache to so that everything has to reload and it doesn't seem to be taking that long at all. and I did make sure to test it in a bunch of other browsers... hmm...

as far as the font goes, i put the whole site together with a font i found more fitting, and he hated it so i made him pick a font to keep him quiet, and boy was that an adventure.

also there isn't much for content really, at least, not that they've given me. Though I can see how I should probably change the size of some things.

I don't think I know enough flash yet to make it well.. cooler. haha. maybe after I try my hand at making a different site for myself...

Doesnt take long to load a good. 15sec or so. I would make a new splash picture (not flash).
Same look but not so much stuff.
Took me a bit to figure out what the nav said.
