First off, does someone want to welcome me to the 21st century? We finally got a DVD player. Not the best thing, but alas, it's a dvd player. We didn't get one because we really dont have a use for one. We haven't rented a movie in 5-10 years because we have sattelite, so Pay-Per-Vu movies and such.

And then, my dillema. I have a vcr, sattelite reciever and now a dvd player, and the darn thing isn't connecting. It took us 2 days to put the vcr in, now how long is it gonna take to get this blasted thing in!

i just use my XBox lol. i got the same space prob as you! i am going to get a real one though...when i finally get rid of the VCR, but i want a TiVO to so i am going to be really tight on space, and now my mom is looking to get rid of our thingie we keep the TV in and get a flat screen so its like aww! lol

ya technology i got 3 dvd player and i dont even have a vcr :( and now theyre coming with this blue ray technology wich supposedly holds about 20 gigs on 1 single dvd that means i gotta buy me a new dvd player >:(
