Really nice. Is this a real event your making it for (whats the actual size, just curious)?

nice bold design :thumb:

i think i'd personally like it better as a pure vector. To me, the slight blur around the people doesn't really add anything (although it's not that bad, i think it would look better without). More importantly, the darkish bits on the yellow b/g: It looks like they're just airbrushed on (if they're a texture, i can't distinguish it) and to me it just seems a bit grimey, as if you've smudged something there :P

i think it would be significantly cleaner and nicer without the darker "lowlights".

yes bro .. this is for an actual event .. the size of the invitation is 5x7 inches .. here i answered ur questin :)

Actually it is without the things u said .. no shadow .. no airbrush .. well it isnt air brush exactly .. nothing .. it is a much more cleaner design .. just did that stuff coz i wanted to add some depth in the design .. as i said its illustrator work ;)

but there is definitely something there, isn't there.
on closer inspection, it looks like a copy of the swirly thing with a blur effect and darkened or something.

whatever the thing is, even if it's not airbrushing, i still think it would be better without. it's not about whether you did it all in vector or added raster elements, what i'm saying is that i don't think that bit adds anything, whatever it is. That's all.

if you put it in to add depth, then that's cool. at least i can see where you're coming from now :).

Good job overall, however, that swirl seems a bit extreme, especially where it overlaps the feet of the silhouette. There should be some kind of gradation or lowering of opacity or something that allows it to blend in a bit more,

Cheers!
