need troubleshooter for my FormMail.pl

I downloaded a free formmail.pl from web site and i uploaded this file in to my cgi-bin but for some reason i don't get any mail neither my form works righ t. can somebody help me with it, or can somebody tell me th emost common mistakes people do when they play with pearl scrip. I did what?

I did upload pearl pl file into my server, into my cgi-bin and when i test my form then itsn't working right. and i can't receive any mail
