I like the font and how it all connects together. There is definatly something missing though. Try some colors too.

It does not look smart and fashionable. It looks like its from the middle east. What kind of restraunt is it? What kind of food? Age group of people, what kind of location, etc.

yeah, definitely looks middle eastern. i'd look towards a sans-serif all caps font if i were you. something like ultra condensed sans serif (http://dafont.com/font.php?file=ultra_condensed_san&page=&nb_ppp_old=10&text=Hubbly+Bubbly&nb_ppp=10&classt=alpha) or grenadier (http://dafont.com/font.php?file=grenadier&page=&nb_ppp_old=10&text=Hubbly+Bubbly&nb_ppp=10&classt=alpha). i would also shy away from gradients. try to imagine the restaurant name being printed on a canvas overhang or menu. in those places, gradients probably wouldn't be appropriate.

fyi... not a logo, its a logotype. only has letters.
take off the PS styles and show it plain, if its good in black and white then move on, if not start over. also, in black and white means 100% black 100% white, not grayscale.

I'd like to see a logo with an actual logo or some type of representation of the restaraunt rather than just text that has been beveled etc.

looks very much like the same style as many aisian restaurants so on that note I'd probably say its a little too common as I walk past about 4 or 5 restaurants with like banners (they are all chrome but same style).
