Ok so i saw Soul's footer and his little pixel guy beside it and loved it. So i figured i would make one too. http://www.sintax321.com/pics/pixelsintax.gif

Now I was thinking if everybody made one and posted it i could put together a little image with all of them. Kind of like that big poster of the simpsons characters where everyone in town is on it.

So make your self Pixel size and make one if you want to be on the image. jsut right click and save mine or Soul's(if he doesn't mind) and work off it to make your self. please save as a gif to preserver the transparance.

Mines "highly modified"..lol. I had to change the hair to be spiky and crazy, then my giant almost bellbottom like trousers were added, and then my eyes and mouth were changed. And I think I changed the way the shirt is... can't remember, must go look....

i changed my shirt to Z, it was origanaly going to say ZYC like with the Y going through the Z, but it didnt work out. so it just looks like a cool Z. lol. but the shirt needed to be longer, so i made it longer, and teh pants were fine, just colour changed them. but you cand see the shirt changes

This is a really cool idea, I love it. I am sad that the Kirupaville thread didn't take off, but I guess smaller pixel people are much easier to make than pixel communities, so maybe this will take off more.

The text size looks fine to me. I was thinking of another way to have the names be shown, I will see if I can get it working then show you.

Ya LIB I was thinking of having a couple of imput boxs to the side that would contatin more info on each person. Just used the hover captions becase the are quick. Ya if you wnat to work something out to make the names dissplay better be my guest.

ya sure it doesnt' take much to switch out the gifs for new ones. The charachters themseves are not buttons so it is really easy.

one thing i noticed Sintax, when you get to you, the hover caption is cut off, then when you get you soul, his name barley fits...

The size of yours is nor problem Hojo. Only change it if u want too. As long as they aren't huge it is fine.

Ok i added LIB's new code. Also new "hojo" and "reViper" charachters.

We don't have one of kirupa yet no one has made one.

Also if some one could make a pixel background for it that would be great. I was thinking just some blue sky and clouds and maybe a grassy hill would be nice. But if you can think of something differnt I will consider it.

the sound on rollover in your footer crashes my entire machine when I use Mozilla. If it's not too much to ask, can you remove the sound please (I didn't know what was doing it, since I work with my speakers off...)..

hojo: you might be sorry you asked that question. Any IE to NS comparison questions usually cause flame wars. You might get lucky, but if not, hope you are prepared. I am staying out of it from the start, been in too many IE-NS arguments already.

oh, i didnt mean that in any way against mozilla at all. i used mandrake for a while and me being near a coding newbie, linux didnt appeal to me much. mozilla was nice, but i didnt notice anything about it that was much better than ie.

I wasn't saying that you were siding with any browser, but in a browser flame war, that apparently doesn't matter, people are willing to find any flaw in your statement, or while stating the differences they add their personal opinions, which causes people to challenge their personal opinions, etc, etc. Its the typical snowball effect.

IN MY OPINION: I like Mozilla for its tabbed browsing, and it seems to run a bit quicker than IE. I also like the fact that Mozilla is skinnable.

I still prefer IE, but Mozilla is up there for me.

i know that kirupa has a lot of smilies but i reckon it wouldn't hurt to have some more. the comic book guy (simpsons) once said "there is no emoticon for what i'm feeling", but if we had a weekly contest and the best 3 become official smilies, or something along those lines, we could have a smilie for everything.

Well, here is the problem with that - we can't have an infinite number of smilies, and instead of having a vote for the best smilies, we can do it the way it is right now - the best smilies already get picked and added to the list. The hassle simply outweighs the end benefit ;)
